USES
Used for the removal of turbidity and suspended solids in water treatment/ waste water treatment. High Resistance to chemicals due to high carbon content.  Used as dual media filter in combination with filter sand to effectively improve the removal of suspended solids and turbidity.
 
ADVANTAGES:
•              Best pre filter media in RO plants and DM plants by reducing the turbidity, SS levels and removing iron,silica and manganese.
•              Easy backwashing and high filtration reduces operational cost.
•              Helps in removal of algae by bio film formation.
